As we continue to wait patiently for the launch of the 2016/17 Calls, the UK National Contact Points are starting to announce details of their national information days. For those of you who can’t make it to info days in Brussels, these are a really valuable source of information and insight.
So far, a number of events have been announced, but we expect more over the next few weeks:
- The ESRC will be hosting sessions related to Societal Challenge 6, Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation, Science with and for Society, and Embedding SSH. Our nearest session is at the University of Nottingham (4 November 2015), but for a full list of dates and information about registering please visit the event web page here.
- UKRO will be holding information events on the MSCA ‘Innovative Training Networks‘ call – expected to launch in September with a mid-January 2016 deadline. Sessions will provide an overview of the scheme and provide handy tips for writing your proposal. There will be sessions in London and York (you can register for each via the links).
The events are free and open to all, so we’d encourage you to register if you’re interested in applying to any of the areas above. As ever, if you’re thinking of attending let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
