The launch of the 2016 Calls for Proposals for Horizon 2020 took a step closer today.
The Commission have now made drafts of the proposed work programmes for 2016/17 available here. Information is included on topic areas, but some key information e.g. budgets, is omitted.
These are near final versions so should give a fairly accurate picture of what to expect when the Calls launch in mid-October. However, these still carry caveats. In the word of the Commission’s Horizon 2020 website:
“These documents are being made public just before the adoption process of the work programme to provide potential participants with the currently expected main lines of the work programme 2016-2017. They are not yet endorsed by the Commission and they do not in any way prejudge the final decision of the Commission.”
You are free to share the drafts with colleagues and we’d encourage you to use these to continue the conversations that you are already having with your potential collaborators.
