Less than one month to apply for the Geologists’ Association Curry fund.
This aims to support initiatives within geology which might otherwise not be possible, to encourage innovation, and to help a wider public understand and enjoy geology. Projects in the following categories are accepted:
•geological publication – supports publications by the association and by other organisations and individuals, including digital and audio-visual media;
•geological conservation – enables the purchase of geological sites for purposes of conservation, the clearance, maintenance and recording of sites, and supports museums responsible for the curation of geological material;
•research grants – provided for members of the association for research topics that fall out of scope of other grants offered by GA.
Grants are normally worth between £100 and £3,000.
Deadline for applications: 20 Nov 15
