The British Academy invites applications for its quantitative skills innovator awards. This scheme, formerly known as the skills acquisition awards, promotes innovative research methods using languages and quantitative skills within the social science and humanities, using skills development, acquisition, collaboration or dissemination.
Each applicant must be within 15 years of receiving their doctorate, and must be resident in the UK with a current academic appointment at a UK higher education institute. Up to to 20 awards are available, each worth a maximum of £15,000 over no more than one year. Each award must begin between 14 and 31 March 2016.
The closing date for applications is on 2 December 2015 at 5pm.
