The Design History Society invites applications for two of its research grants:
Research exhibition grants
These assist those engaged in design history research that leads to a permanent or temporary exhibition or display, which can take either physical or digital format.
The total amount available is £1,500, which will be divided amongst several applications. Individual funding requests should not exceed £1,000.
The deadline for applications if 15 March 2016.
Research, travel and conference grants
These assist those who need to travel to conduct essential research for their design history scholarship or to present new research at key academic conferences.
The research travel or conference must take place within 12 months of the application deadline. Only members of the society may apply.
The total amount available is £3,000, which will be divided amongst several applications. Individual funding requests should not exceed £1,000.
The deadline for applications is 15 May 2016.
