The Northern Ireland Housing Executive wishes to commission a suitably experienced team of Researchers / Research Company / University to undertake a rolling 3 year analysis of Northern Ireland’s housing market based on the collection, collation and analysis of house prices, rents and affordability-related information in Northern Ireland. The analysis of these key indicators of the housing market will inform housing policy and strategy in relation to the health of and activity levels in the housing market and in particular in relation to the issue of the affordability of both the owner occupied sector for first-time buyers and the private rented sector for households on lower incomes. The overall aim of the research is to provide a series of key indicators which will guide the Department for Social Development and Housing Executive’s strategic intervention in Northern Ireland’s housing market.
