International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation Grants and Awards

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation invites applications for several funding opportunities.

Pulmonary hypertension research grant

This enables researchers to investigate a relevant clinical or translational science question in pulmonary hypertension.

Nursing, health sciences and allied health research grant

This encourages qualified nurses, social scientists and other health care allied healthcare professionals to conduct research related to the areas of end-stage heart and lung disease and transplantation.

Norman E Shumway career development award

This supports investigators in basic, clinical or translational research at a critical time in their independent research career.

Transplant registry early career award

This supports research by candidates who have attained fellowships or junior faculty level appointments.

Research fellowship award

This supports candidates who are in clinical or postdoctoral training programmes and have not yet attained board certification or accreditation, faculty level appointment or salaried senior staff position.

The deadline for all applications is 15 Jan 2016.
