After another busy week, here’s a few examples of what the RKE Office have been up to:
KE Chesire Networking Event – Kevin Gallimore (Cheshire’s Associate Dean for Knowledge Exchange) welcomed the bi-monthly RKE Network Event to MMU Cheshire on Wednesday. This event saw Trevor Brown talk about the exciting relocation of the South Cheshire Chamber to the Crewe Campus and his experience using the Flexible Curriculum Framework.
Grants Academy – This week saw academics embark on the second cohort of the bid writing boot camp for Autumn 2015. This intensive programme provides a fun way for researchers to work on their proposals and share experiences with other colleagues.
Health Science Funding Event – This Friday we welcomed colleagues from MMU, University of Salford and University of Manchester, as well as SME representatives and Patient Advocates, for a Health Science Funding Event. This afternoon of presentations was aimed at the GM AHSN funding call “Assistive Technologies – Reducing Social Isolation to support recovery, health and wellbeing”.
Thanks and well done to all involved from RKE!
