Research Project: Risks of Phytophthora Species to the Scottish Environment and Rural Economy

The Scottish Government are seeking research on the following issue:

The project will develop and use improved detection methods for Phytophthora spp. to determine the presence of these species in key environments in Scotland. The data from the project will be used by official services and stakeholders to evaluate the risks of Phytophthora spp. to plants in trade, in commercial production and the environment.

Deadline for proposals: 6 January

Funding available: £230,000-£250,000
