Harvard University US-Japan programme postdoctoral fellowships

These enable postdoctoral researchers to study on issues of US-Japan relations, Japan’s relations with other countries and domestic issues that bear on Japan’s international behaviour. Applications may address fields such as anthropology, economics, history, law, political science, public health and sociology.

The deadline for applications is 15 Jan 16.

Stanford University Fellowships at the Center for International Security and Cooperation

These enable applicants from academia and the world of public policy, or mid-career professionals in the law, the military, government or international organisations to engage in research and writing, participate in seminars and collaborate with faculty and researchers.

The deadline for applications is 15 Jan 16.

British School at Rome Giles Worsley Rome fellowship

This enables an architect or architectural historian to spend three months in Rome studying an architectural topic of their choice, experience the reality of influential Italian buildings and carry out research in and around the city, while benefiting from the collegiate life of the BSR.

The deadline for applications is 17 Feb 16.

Kay Kendall Leukaemia Fund Intermediate research fellowships

These aim to facilitate the careers of biomedical scientists by allowing them to gain experience in an international centre of excellence prior to establishing an independent research group of their own. Research should address one or more questions relating to the epidemiology, aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis or treatment of leukaemia, or a closely allied malignancy.

The deadline for applications is 14 Apr 16.
