Research Accelerator Grant

The RKE Office are excited to announce the newest round of the Research Accelerator Grant, providing funding to researchers at the beginning of their research career at the University.

The scheme is primarily aimed and prioritised towards early career researchers, but is also open to those new at MMU or those who have not yet held external research grant funding. However, applicants should be aware that eligible ECR (no more than 8 years since your PhD was awarded) applications will be prioritised. Applications will be accepted from any department across the University.

The award is a small pump-priming fund which will provide costs directly associated with the project. The RAG award must inform a larger external grant application within 18 months of acceptance.

The maximum award is £8,000.

Applications will be peer-reviewed by an internal panel comprising of RKE Future Leaders.

The next deadline for applications will be 1st April 2016.

More information and the application form can be found here.
