Longer School Day Research Project

Expressions of interest are sought by the Department for Education for a research project exploring the potential to increase out-of-normal-timetable activity in secondary schools, to extend the school day. Findings from this research project will provide information about where investment is best targeted and what interventions will be most effective, inform how we design support for schools, and support the development of new models and case studies that can be communicated to schools thinking of implementing a longer school day.

Understanding the Impact of Outreach on Access to Higher Education

The Office for Fair Access wish to place a contract for a principal investigator to develop a methodology that can be used by universities to improve understanding and evaluation of the impact of outreach on access to higher education for young people from low and middle income backgrounds who would be the first in their family to attend university. The first phase of the project, which this tender document refers to, aims to develop a methodology for robust evaluations of a selection of the most promising outreach approaches.

Reviewing Derbyshire’s Radical Re-think of the Early Help Offer

Consultancy support is being sought by Derbyshire County Council to develop a collaborative, jointly commissioned Early Help Offer, based on shared investment between schools, the Local Authority and other partners to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and their families in Derbyshire. Their strategy to re-think the Early Help Offer is already underway, and they are seeking external support and expertise at this formative stage.

Media Content Analysis and Primary Research

Innovate UK wish to procure a single supplier who will strengthen our understanding of our brand visibility through analysis of our message usage and penetration in traditional and social media channels and within the context of our competitive environment. We also require an agency that can undertake annual or in-year primary research projects with our priority audiences as and when needed.
