Active Inclusion Fund Evaluation

Wales Council for Voluntary Action wish to assess the impact of the Active Inclusion Fund (AIF) project. It is intended that a continuous evaluation is conducted for the period September 2015 with annual interim reports and a final report in June 2019.

Deadline for proposals: 31 August

Funding available: £70,000

Study to Develop and Pilot a UK Natural Capital Stress Test

WWF-UK wishes to appoint a consultant to undertake a study to develop and pilot a natural capital stress test in the UK. The overall aim of the project is to develop and pilot test a methodology for natural capital stress testing that could be applied by the UK government in the future in order to help it to identify and assess the risks (in economic terms) from ongoing or worsening environmental degradation and/or depletion, and to help the government to prioritise and inform efforts to help mitigate the most significant risks.

Research on Mens Perception of Gender Equality in the Workplace

Chwarae Teg would like to commission research into men’s perception of gender equality in the Welsh workplace. The work will investigate men’s understanding of, and attitudes towards gender equality in the workplace, and explore workplace culture from their perspectives. The research will focus on three of the nine priority sectors in the Welsh business environment in which women are under-represented in the workforce and at managerial level: Construction, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and Energy and Environment. Any differences between large employers and SMEs should be explored.

Funding available: £22,000
