Leverhulme-Trust1-300x168  The Leverhulme Research Fellowship call for 2017 is now open with a deadline of 10th November. The Fellowships offer up to £50,000  for experienced researchers to conduct a programme of research in any discipline.  The awards provide for replacement teaching costs and research expenses such as travel.

Research Fellowships are open to experienced researchers, particularly those who are or have been prevented by routine duties from completing a programme of original research who must be able to demonstrate experience and academic background sufficient to confirm their ability to complete the proposed programme of research.

Leverhulme cover all subject areas apart from applied medicine and policy-driven research where the principal objective is to assemble an evidence base for immediate policy initiatives.

Fellowships are tenable for between 3 and 24 months, and the current round of awards must commence between 1 June 2017 and 1 May 2018.
