Research into the Low Take-up of Funded Childcare

Sheffield City Council is commissioning research into the relatively low take up of Free Early Learning (FEL) among the Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) community within part of the city of Sheffield (Burngreave Children’s Centre area) which contains a majority BME population.

Research into the use of Digital Technology by Welsh Arts Organisations

Nesta is commissioning research: to provide an accessible overview of available evidence to help arts organisations in Wales to navigate the process of organisational change that is required to make effective use of new technologies; to provide context to the research and development being carried out by arts organisations; and to inform ongoing strategic planning by Nesta and Arts Council Wales.

Deadline for proposals: 15 November

Funding available: £8,000

Analysis of Pathways to Maximise Emissions Reduction

The Committee on Climate Change want to explore how the use and management of land and livestock could deliver longer-term deeper emissions cuts and increased GHG removals in the UK agriculture and LULUCF sectors by 2100. The aim is to identify land use scenarios that can achieve deeper emissions reductions, which may reach net negative, whilst also taking into account resilience.

Deadline for proposals: 21 November

Funding available: £83,000
