A few updates from the Alzheimer’s Research UK.


Grant Deadlines

Fellowships

Two new schemes have been launched:

dementia

The ARUK-Dunhill Medical Trust Clinical Research Fellowship. This will fund a clinically qualified researcher (with previous experience in vascular dementia) up to £240,000 to cover salary, support staff, travel and running costs – see here for more info.

The Race Against Dementia Fellowship. This is a one-off call where the scheme will support Early Career Researchers (no more than 3 years post-PhD) with funds up to £500,000 for five years – see here for more info.


2019 Conference

The ARUK Conference for 2019 will be held in Harrogate on 19th-20th March. There will be a keynote lecture by Prof. Philip Scheltens.

On Monday 18th March an Early Careers Day will be held with sessions designed for PhD students, Postdocs and Fellows.
