HPSC Grant Application Workshop: Revised Date

Members of the Health, Psychology and Social Care Faculty are invited to attend a Research Grant Application Workshop hosted by your Research Development Team.

The event has been designed for Academic members of staff who are eligible to apply for external research funding and plan on applying within the next 6 months – this includes Research Fellows on permanent contracts. Due to conflicting arrangements the event has been postponed until the new year with the following revised schedule:

  • Date: Wednesday 22nd January 2020
  • Time: 12 – 4pm
  • Location: Business School
  • Registration: Via Eventbrite.

Save the Date – RDS NW Developing Funding Proposals in Health and Social Care: First Grants

The RDS NW Service will be hosting an all day event aimed at people who are less experiences at applying for research funding and are considering their first submission and a chance to meet the RDS NW advisers.

NIHR Research for Social Care – Competition 2

The current Research for Social Care (RfSC) call welcomes proposals for research which generates evidence to improve, expand and strengthen the way adult social care id delivered for users of care services, carers, and the public.

research proposals are expected to demonstrate strong links to people with social care needs, to social care service users and carers, and to organisations which provide adult social care services. Proposals are also expected to demonstrate strong and appropriate research expertise, with teams which can demonstrate a track record of relevant published research.

Deadline: 22nd January 2020 – 1pm.

NIHR RfPB Social Care Information Event

NIHR Research for Patient Benefit have launched a Research for Social Care (RfSC) funding call. For more details of the announcement please visit the call page here.

Research Design Services across England are hosting roadshows to provide information and guidance to potential applicants to RfSC. The RDS NW will be hosting one of the events on 8th October 2019 in Manchester (exact details tbc).
